This week has been a whirlwind of great news for my upcoming debut dark romance novel, The Songbird’s Shadow.
So, what happened?
First and foremost, I finished the first draft of my manuscript and sent it to my alpha reader. That’s 116,575 words written!
And here’s the really craziest part – I love this book! When I started this journey, I thought for sure that I wouldn’t feel confident sending this book to my alpha and beta readers. After reading through my manuscript, I can see how wrong I was. I love Grayson and Ava’s story.
You might be wondering, what’s coming next. Well, I’ll tell you!
I’ll be making edits this upcoming week (or two) and sending the manuscript to my beta readers (16 readers) within the next few weeks and getting their feedback before the end of February.
