I’m so happy to announce that ARC (advanced reader copy) sign ups are now open for my debut dark romance novel, The Songbird’s Shadow. I’m partnering with Good Girl Author Services for a blog tour of this book. They’ve been so wonderful in helping me reduce my stress around this process!
If you’re wondering what this all means, don’t worry because I’m about to tell you.
An ARC is an unpublished version of a book that authors send to reviewers and book buyers (for free) before the official release date. Now, you might be asking yourself, “Why the heck would an author give away free copies of their book before it’s even released?”
Well, there are a lot of good reasons for this. First and foremost, to help gain some buzz around an upcoming release. ARC readers promise to write honest reviews of a book once it’s been released. These reviews may be on book buying sites, social media, book review sites, etc. Having reviews posted on or close to release day helps other readers to know if they want to buy a book.
